Bob's Background

Creativity is my passion. I have been a life-long automotive enthusiast and avid gardener, interests that helped me improve the function and ease of certain tasks. An industrial engineer at heart, I am always looking for a more efficient way to do things. Product design innovations - out-of-the-box concepts - are exciting when they work and look better.

Corporate Experience

As president of Reese Products, a towing and cargo management manufacturer, my team grew the business at an average of over 30% for most of the 1990s.

Although my time at Reese Products was fun and rewarding, I heard other ventures calling. Two associates and I established a towing accessories company called Trailair, which manufactures couplers for fifth wheel recreational vehicles, equestrian, livestock and cargo trailers.

Trailair couplers incorporate an air ride feature that reduces the damaging and uncomfortable shock that passes between the tow vehicle and the trailer.

Trailair's newest product is a device that converts a standard tandem and tri-axle spring suspensions typically found on towable trailers into air ride. Trailair customers love our products and our service. You can view Trailair products on the web at www.trailair.com.

Now that Trailair is off and running, it's time for me to start another new project. The first Brilliant Bob products are a truck and automotive accessory and a gardening and janitorial product line. The name "brilliant" motivates our staff and reassures our customers. Brilliant is the threshold of uniqueness and function we strive for in our products.
